 The School For Gifted Goaltenders

High Performer Program

Brick By Brick Goaltending is excited to bring you our School for Gifted Goaltenders: a goalie-specific training program for those in the TDSB, YDSB, or PDSB accredited High Performer Program*.

​

While there are other High Performer Programs available, The School for Gifted Goaltenders is the only one that follows the ‘Total Goaltender Development’ model. This model focuses on building goalies in 3 distinct areas (physical, mental, and spiritual). Our program provides the tools and environment necessary for optimal goalie development, including:

​

• On-ice instruction with head coach Josh Roarke

• Dryland training provided by our partners Rachel Koo

• VR, vision, & cognitive training provided by The Reaction Room

• Access to physiotherapy, acupuncture, & sports massage from our partners at the Village Rehab Team

• Weekly video review & analysis

• Mentoring and career advisement

*The High Performer Program (HPP) is an academic program provided by the TDSB, YDSB, and PDSB for elite-level athletes who require flexible timetabling as a result of rigorous training and competition schedules. Non HPP students are welcome to join our program if their school schedule allows it.
